The Leoncino has always been a stylish alternative to the the other mid capacity naked bikes. It has a great sound and the handling inspires confidence.
However it didn't suit those that wanted something a bit bigger. We longed for a larger capacity version and in 2022, Benelli answered our prayers with the Leoncino 800 and the Leoncino Trail 800.
They are a very attractive bike, modern without being weirdly angular like Honda's Hornet, Suzuki GSR8, Kawasaki Z series, Yamaha MT07 / MT09, KTM Duke etc.
We recently sold a 2022 Honda Hornet for $11490 and it was a phenomenal bike to ride. Loads of power and great handling; I thought it was the perfect bike. Then I jumped on the Leoncino 800 and found myself riding the bike harder, tipping into corners more and generally enjoying the ride a lot more.
Technically the Hornet is a better bike but I just enjoyed riding the Leoncino more. Isn't that what riding a motorcycle should be about?
