This is a FULL POWER US model with Full V Boost, which is a great thing because most of the importers around the world including Australia imported the much tamer bike for most of the model life.
The V Max is not a cruiser ( although you can cruise on it ), it's designed as a road legal traffic light dragster & when the tacho hits 6500 rpm "look out", Captain Kirk & the Star Ship Enterprise ain't got nothin on this baby when it hits Warp Drive.
The Full Power V Max is the only bike I know of that you can smoke the back tyre with the front wheel in the air.
But don't be intimidated, below 6500 rpm the bike behaves normally, it's a real Jekyll & Hyde thing & you get to choose.
This bike comes with a full performance exhaust system with a pair of throbbing big arsed mufflers which sound unbelievable, it is also fitted with a CSC steering damper.
This is not the best presented V Max I've ever seen but the price is great & reflects that, it does however have incredibly low klms on the clock.
Everything will clean up really nicely for the person who doesn't mind spending a bit of time tinkering & turning her into an absolute gem.

This bike would have originally had a speedo in mph, it is now kph so the correct mileage is unknown, it is likely that the speedo was changed when the bike was imported into Australia in 1992 & the mileage on the clock is most likely from that time but this cannot be confirmed, however the bike runs beautifully.
