This head turning custom features a stack of sought-after and high quality components. 69'engine with 1970 frame and hardtail kit
Fresh gearbox rebuild, recent engine build and all the fruit.
The owner bought it as a basket case from a gent who was moving abroad. It was built up as a standard bike in Melbourne in the 1980s then sold to a mate. Old mate bought it back when it was a ratty mess in the early 2000s and then moved to Perth. He stripped it partly down, bought a hard tail and then waited for inspiration.
The owner bought it before Covid and spent lock down building it to what it is now. He says "Its just about run in".
Engine and gearbox were done by Ben at British imports. Had NOS casing as the originals were knackered and beyond repair. Has new Harris half race cams and bushes, followers etc. Crank was good, so cleaned and polished. Conrods were good, so reconditioned and refired. Barrels machined and polished. New pistons are 20 thou over. Head reconditioned with new valves and springs etc. New carbie, electronic ignition. Everything done.
